There are a total of six(6) Departments to pursue the State mandate for the agency to perfection.
In accordance with the Act establishing BENDISMEA and the implementation of the Agency’s mandate to create a framework for planning, research, development, standardization, application, coordination, monitoring, evaluation and regulation of Information Technology practices and systems in Benue State, has made it necessary to create departments and Units. The Departments and Units are saddled with the responsibility of effective service delivery in the carrying out of their functions.
The focus of the department is to equip MDAs and the public with sufficient knowledge, and skills to minimize and prevent cybersecurity threats and incidents.
The Department of Administration and Finance (DAF) is responsible for ensuring that all departments in the agency adhere to the agency's policies and procedures. It manage the agency's finances, including budgeting, salaries, and funds disbursement.
The department of legal matters is responsible for ensuring that agency's operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations as well as ensuring the implementation of the agency's laws and regulations.
Define how systems are built and ensure that these systems are operational and meets quality standards.
The Department of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) collects and analyzes information to help with decision-making, accountability, and evaluation.
The department focus on system maintenance policies because maintenance itself is a key part of sustainability, as it improves operations and contributes to longer system life.
