The main mandate of the Department is to coordinate and harmonized the Monitoring and Evaluation systems operating across the State Government Departments, implementing State-wide M & E Policy, and evaluating key public projects and programmes to improve their performance over time, ensuring that there is value for money on intervention projects being executed by the State.
